Just an update to let you know you are next in line for the roofing project. We were able to get a second roofing crew out to enable us to work on multiple buildings at a time. As soon as the crew on 41/42 or the crew on 37/38 is done, they will be over to your building to re-roof. Hopefully this will happen within the next three weeks, but I cannot promise any specific date at this time. As a reminder, once the roofing project begins there will be temporary AC outages that should last less than 3 hours per unit. Our contractors will be working on one AC unit at a time to ensure the AC units do not get mixed up. For those of you with old AC units (over 15 years old), we will do our best to get your AC back up and running smoothly. However, some of the AC units are so old and damaged just lifting it could cause the unit to completely fall apart and or die. We have found several units that are over 30 years old, and AC’s are simply not designed to last that long. Some are totally rusted and falling apart and are literally on their last leg. We cannot take responsibility for AC’s that have outlived their useful life. This project is required by the City as part of the re-roofing project and must be done. If the simple act of moving your AC unit a couple of feet causes it to fall apart and totally die, you will have to replace it.
If you have storm damage and have not yet had your drywall and insulation removed, you must contact Andrew immediately at 407 222 6099. Once the roof is complete we will notify you so that you can contact us for drywall repairs. These appointments will be made on a first come first serve basis. After final inspection the gutter company will be out to install the new gutters, flashing, and downspouts. Once everything is complete Maintenance and Landscaping crews will be tackling a long list of repairs that need to be made on these buildings including pressure washing, painting, cleaning etc. Thank you in advance for your cooperation during construction.
There may be pauses in the project due to City inspections, weather, or material deliveries. Delays may cause the roofers to work on weekends or to temporarily move to another building so they can keep working and moving forward. We apologize for the inconvenience and noise this may cause. If you have an AC issue once the roofing is underway, please contact Hector with Mr. AC of Orlando at 407 451 5758. He is offering a discount for those of you who want to replace your AC system while your roof is being replaced.
